After having worked three days straight on a XP machine, opening up my Mac felt like stepping out of a Dacia Logan straight into an Aston Martin. Everything from font smoothing to display quality to tactile feeling is so much up-standard. Some say Macs are overpriced given the components, but the whole is just so much more than the simple sum of them.
